Raised in a family of female artists, Charlotte Ouimet-Rogers developed a passion for art at an early age. By the age of 14, she set a goal of becoming an animator. She pursued her studies in animation at Cégep du Vieux-Montréal, earning her diploma in 2021. While in college, she discovered a strong interest in pre-production but initially had to start in animation due to industry demands. She worked as a 2D cut-out animator for two different studios over the course of three years. However, a combination of waning motivation and a mass layoff led her to step away from the industry. Determined to follow her true passion, she began focusing on personal projects and building a business with her art. Now more motivated than ever, she is dedicated to pursuing what she truly loves.

Charlotte Ouimet-Rogers refuses to lose her propensity to play as she grows older. Her art embraces a childish, cute, and colorful aesthetic, often featuring cats, nature, and whimsical trinkets. She draws inspiration from the small joys in life, hoping to share that joy with others. A naturally curious artist, she has explored numerous mediums over the years, picking them up and setting them aside as her interests evolve. Now, she embraces this versatility, setting time aside for playful experimentation—smudging paint, assembling mixed-media pieces, and scribbling over them. Though she rarely showcases these works, as the trained animator in her strives for polished, refined results, the influence of this creative freedom remains evident in her compositions, color choices, and textures. Above all, she seeks to ensure that her art is both enjoyable to create and delightful to experience.
